Mother O' Mine

Born Susan Miriam Lipson (now Susan DeFrino) in 1938, my mother spent 50 years of her life in New Jersey followed by 33 years in Las Vegas. She lived her last two Vegas years in an independent living facility before journeying across the country to Philadelphia to be close to her children.

My mom has been a grade-school teacher, an insurance analyst, and an airline representative. She is an enthusiastic reader, television watcher, and ice cream eater. I am the oldest of her three children.
